In Urgent Need of Locating A Bone Marrow/Stem Cell Match:

Cristina De Corte needs your help:

  • Age: 25 years old
  • She has been searching for a matching donor for almost four years
  • Condition: MNGIE (Mitochondrial neurogastrointestinal encephalopathy)
  • In particular, Italian ancestry donors are needed
  • Her disease has progressed affecting her thyroid, ovaries (which means she has lost the ability to have children), bones (she has osteoporosis discovered when her leg broke in January and is still dealing with the consequences), and suffers from worsening nerve damage in her legs and hands which means she has to walk with a walker and needs a wheel chair when she go out which also means she am no longer able to work as a passionate hairdresser.
